Course Description
The aim of this programme is to build an understanding of the legal implications associated with the inspection and management of wood-destroying organisms and termites; the characteristics of timber and the timber used in building construction; the identification of wood-destroying organisms and termites; the preventive and corrective termite management processes; the treatment processes for other wood-destroying insects; the treatment processes for wood-damaging fungi; and the wood-destroying organism inspection principles and procedures.
